Treatments and services for women

Our skilled women's health specialists understand the challenges you face. We can help you achieve better health with leading-edge knowledge, innovative technology and a sincere dedication to meeting your medical concerns.

Breast care

Our doctors, nurses and specialists understand the importance of staying vigilant with your breast health. We encourage early breast cancer detection by keeping up with regular mammograms and breast exams. A mammogram can often detect breast cancer early, even catching it when it's not easily detectable through a concerning lump. Our hospital also offers digital mammography, which uses computer-based electronic conductors, rather than traditional X-ray film, to display accurate pictures of the interior of your breast.

Cardiovascular care

Certain women are particularly vulnerable and have a higher predisposition to experiencing heart disease and stroke. Being aware of your family history and sharing it with your physician is extremely important, so appropriate cardiac screenings can be administered. Other factors that may cause heart disease include:

  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Obesity
  • Physical inactivity
  • Smoking

Heart attacks frequently go unnoticed or unreported. In some instances, this can be attributed to some women not recognizing symptoms, which are often more subtle in women than in men. It is important to understand that there are significant differences in heart disease between genders. These differences can be seen in heart attack warning signs and cardiovascular disease risk factors.

Gynecology

We provide a variety of gynecological services to meet your needs. If you are in need of gynecologic surgery, a well-woman exam or menopause guidance, we can meet your concerns. Our gynecological care practices combine the expertise of our women's specialists with the latest in surgical procedures, including robot-assisted minimally invasive techniques.

Labor and delivery services

Our labor and delivery unit is staffed 24/7 in preparation for all birthing scenarios. In addition to a selection of preparatory labor and delivery classes, we provide mothers with spacious birthing rooms and mother-baby suites to help create a positive birthing experience. Additionally, we offer hydrotherapy, lactation services, a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and a neonatal abstinence evaluation support and treatment program for babies who have been affected by substance abuse.
